Valentine's Day at Millerton Lake

Just had to brag about the weather here in winter. We're getting a week of rain, but that isn't stopping the blue skies in between showers. The motorhome in the pictures is the largest we have ever seen. It is custom made and belongs to a rancher from Oklahoma.

Valentine's Day: campground is about three-quarters full. The Bradford Pears around Fresno are beginning to bloom. These last two pictures are being added on February 21. Our wild flowers are in full bloom on the hills. This is a clump of Eastwood's Fiddleneck. Each flower cluster is shaped like the neck of a violin. Campers are coming in big groups now. Can spring be far behind?

I love your orchid! I'm glad the rangers were posing with Bernie rather than carting him off (I know how wild you two are!) Happy Valentine's Day!
Love,
