Seeing Old Friends

One of the real joys of being on the road full time is reconnecting with dear friends. We had lunch in Roseville, CA last week with Bruce and Enid Ellithorpe and with Wally and Jean Drotts. Bruce and Wally were two of our pastors in Fresno from 1964-66. We've kept in contact for all these years. Jean remembered that we served them fondue for dinner. We were their "french family," newly arrived from France. Dear friends!

Back at Millerton

We're back for another season. Two of the rangers came over and cleaned up the site yesterday morning and when we got here our sign was out announcing who we are with a "Welcome! Come on in." sign in place. We felt hugged. So---welcome! Come on. We're here for our 8th season.

Beale AFB, CA

We're at Beale AFB for a couple of weeks prior to assuming our duties at Millerton Lake. Bear is taking pictures of his favorite plane -- the U2.
