More Spring Flowers

Although we have not had much rain lately, the Lupine is blooming on the hillsides. The lake is rising several feet each day. Soon, these trees will disappear beneath the water.

Spring Flowers and Night Skies

We never cease to be amazed at the sights and sounds of Millerton Lake in the spring. These pictures were made by a friend, Mick Moores, who was traveling through with his wife Dawn. We had a great visit together. Be sure to click on the picture of the starry sky and see it up close.

Millerton is for the Birds (and Squirrels)

It's mating season for the Red Tail Hawks here at Millerton Lake. One of our guests, Levy Luce, took this picture of a Red Tail in flight. They've been building a nest in a Eucalyptus near our site. Still a lovely time at the lake.
